Our client, whose core business is natural gas transmission and distribution, is searching for a qualified and experienced Head of Internal Audit. Responsibilities of the role will be to review policies and procedures and ensure they accurately reflect accepted auditing principles and practises and “best practises” in financial management and auditing. You will also conduct internal audits to review and ensure that all transactions, processes and procedures are compliant with the published and authorised practises of the group. When necessary you will be required to take corrective action related to either training or disciplinary action. Applicants must have a finance degree from a recognised university, combined with solid experience in a similar Internal Audit position in a large multiunit company.
